Shaanxi Provincial History Museum is located in Xian which is one of Chinese oldest capital in ancient times as well as one of the three world-class capitals. The buildings are featured by the traditional architectural styles widely used in Han and Tang Dynasties. The total area of the museum is 65,000 square meters. The number of the collected articles in museum is over 370,000. The time span of the collected articles is more than 1 million years. Its collections are incomparably valuable. Numerous articles are only available here. Shaanxi Provincial History Museum is one of Chinese most famous museums and levels with Beijing Palace Museum, Nanjing History Museum and Shanghai Museum. Generally the visitors coming to Xian must take a visit to this museum.
