China Huizhou Culture Museum is the second largest comprehensive museum in Anhui province and also the only domestic themed museum exhibiting the all-sided culture of Huizhou. Huizhou Culture Museum located on the south side of Yinbing Avenue of Yunxi Airport in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, covers an area of 157 mu, building area of 14,000 square meters. Under the guideline of oneness of human and nature and on the basis of Huizhou culture,Huizhou Culture Museum is a multi-functional buildings, but also a Huizhou landscape with typical local architectural styles. Museum of the basic display position “Man and Huizhou Huizhou culture”, is divided into: into the Huizhou, the world Huishang, etiquette Huizhou, Huizhou architecture, Huizhou art, science and technology in six parts of Huizhou.

In 1963, China Huizhou Culture Museum renamed on the basis of Huizhou Museum affiliated to Huizhou Culture Bureau. And its original site was in Tunxi Old Street, and the first curator was Mr. Linyin. In 1978, Huizhou Exhibition Hall was merged into this comprehensive museum. In 1987, it was renanmed Huangshan Municipal Museum. On January 8, 2008, China Huizhou Culture Museum was formally established. It is a rare collection about the history and change of Huizhou local culture. Museum’s Inkstone, Hui Mo, Xin-painting, literature and Huizhou Huizhou three birds are the most distinctive collections, which had become the emblem of Huizhou instruments to learn important information attracted the concern of the world’s emblem experts.

Anhui Provincial Museum located in the middle section of Anqing Road of Hefei city, the provincial capital of Anhui, has the area of 70 mu. Anhui Provincial Museum is the only province-level comprehensive museum in Anhui province. In the early period of new China foundation, Hefei Science Museum and North Anhui Culture Operation Committee were established in Hefei; meanwhile, Wuhu Science Museum and South Anhui Cultural Relics Museum were established in Wuhui(an important city in Southern Anhui province and near to Yangtze River). And in 1953, these different museums and sector united together. In 1956, Anhui Provincial Museum established.

Anhui province has a long history and rich cultural relics and heritages, and it is also spearheaded forward for its cultural and historic relics. After many years’ searching, collection and protection, currently Anhui Provincial Museum has more than 230,000 pieces of articles. The most famous exhibited articles in Anhui Provincial Museum are bronze wares of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, the coins of Chu Kingdom, The Stone-Carved Figurines and Images of Han Dynasty, Four Treasures of Study, the Gold-wares and Silverwares of Yuan Dynasty, Xinan School’s Calligraphy and Painting, Huizhou Carvings, Rare Edition of Ancient Books and Huizhou Ancient Folk Agreements. In the modern arts, there are a lot of treasured painting masterpieces created by Pan Yuliang who was a famous Chinese woman painter lived in France.
