Liuzhi Suoga Ecologyl Museum located in Longga Village, 50 kilometers away from Liuzhi Special Region is jointly established by China and Norway, and also China’s first ecological museum. This museum was completely finished on Oct.31.1998. It largely and effectively protects the primitive, simple and unique culture and custom of Miao Nationality living in Suoga, and draws a mass of visitors.

Suoga ecology museum of Miao Nationality located in the special region of Liuzhi in Liupanshui, is a special village of Miao Nationality. In total, there are more than 4000 residents in village. Over hundreds of years, they still remain the original customs. Such a culture is quite simple but rare. Its culture is shown in different corners of their life. Suoga ecology museum is the first native folk culture ecological museum in Asia.

As China’s first test land on Chinese ecology, Suoga Village is the cooperated culture program between China and Norway and also the most-attractive poverty-relief point of Guizhou.

Since its establishment in 1998, it has attracted a lot of specialists and experts. Most of them considered it was quite valuable. The local festivals are characteristic and generally include: Tiaohuapo, Jishujie(Tree-Worship Festival), Jishanjie(Mountain-Worship Festival) and Haoziba Festival. In festivals, visitors can see lots of rare musical instruments that only seen here, and a lot of amazing rites and customs that vividly show the local difference. Suoga village is an unpolluted area that every star at night is quite bright. In the past nine years, Suoga Ecology Museum has taken in more than 100,000 tourists free of charge as well as thousands of experts famous in different regions.

Transportation: the train from Guiyang to Yunnan generally stops at Liuzhi, and the ticket charge is 30 Yuan. And the price of long-haul bus is roughly equal to train price. From Liuzhi to Suoga, visitor can spend 10 Yuan going to the destination.

Accommodation: visitors can live in the standard room offered by Data Information Center of Suoga Ecology Museum.

Caiguan Local Opera Museum of Anshun was initially established in April, 1988 as the first nongovernmental museum with the governmental help. The site of museum originally was a temple of Qing Dynasty.

Currently, there are 251 masks in different sizes, 252 stage properties, 78 garments and 2 models. Most of the operas performed on stage mainly came from the historical stories or some very fantastic legends. On the eastside of museum, there is also an outdoor stage attached to museum. It will be some live performances when the visitors arrive.
